For this day we’re partnering with a new venue, a microcinema here in Austin called Hyperreal Film Club. New day, new venue, new work to share — come check it out.
IMI Fest is just over a month away. Here’s how you can get involved with IMI Fest 2025:
- Screenings: Share your upcoming audio and video work with an audience of peers, patrons, and funders. This is a great opportunity to get feedback, get collaborators, and get support! The fine print: we’re looking for audio and video pieces that are not publicly shared and are <25 minutes long. Submissions close 10/15. We will accept strong drafts, if they can be completed by 11/1.
- Creator’s Studio: Share your physical work in real life. We’re building mini “studios” inside IMI Fest for creator takeovers. Show IMI Fest attendees what your world looks like, off the screen. If you’re an artist, maker, craftsman, engineer, or inventor, we want IMI Fest attendees to experience your work live.
- Volunteer: Experience IMI Fest from the inside! Gain experience with event production and help make IMI Fest the best event it can be.
- Passes: Passes are on sale now! Industry badges are $500, and member discounted tickets start at $50 for access to both festival days (11/15-16). See all the action for yourself and join the movement to reimagine public media in the 21st century.
