Operations & Finance Coordinator

Full Time | Austin, TX

The Finance & Operations Coordinator is the operational foundation of IMI, keeping the financial, administrative, and logistical infrastructure running as the organization grows.


You will:


  • Manage bookkeeping, receipts, and expense reconciliation

  • Process vendor invoices and payments

  • Coordinate with IMI's accountants and financial advisors

  • Manage contracts and organizational paperwork

  • Support HR administration: onboarding, benefits, PTO tracking

  • Support the Director of Philanthropic Development with financial reporting for grant funders

  • Provide logistics admin support for IMI Fest and other events: travel bookings, reimbursements, vendor payments


What We're Looking For


  • 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, nonprofit administration, or a similar role

  • Familiarity with nonprofit financial practices: grant tracking, restricted and unrestricted funds

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented

  • Proactive and reliable

  • Comfortable in a small, fast-moving organization where everyone pitches in


Compensation & Details


  • Salary: $50,000+, commensurate with experience

  • Full-time, year-round position based in Austin, TX

  • PTO and sick days
