50x50: Science Across America is a complex, multi-month production involving creators, scientists, fact-checkers, and a showrunner across all 50 states. The 50x50 Production Coordinator keeps that machine running, tracking every moving part and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You will:

• Track creator communications and ensure timely responses in coordination with the Showrunner

• Process incoming creator pitches and route scientist pitches to the Science Media Researcher

• Manage creator contracts and payments

• Coordinate the fact-checking process, collecting notes from fact-checkers and compiling feedback for creators

• Make sure creators have everything they need for their video upload, ensuring a smooth process

• Coordinate weekly 50x50 events, managing logistics and technical details so that creators and other participants are fully prepared

What We're Looking For

• Experience in production coordination, project management, or a similar role

• Extremely organized and detail-oriented: you track everything and let nothing slip

• Clear communicator who can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving production environment with a lot of moving parts

• Familiarity with creator or media production workflows is a plus

• Self-directed and able to work remotely with minimal oversight

Compensation & Details

• $4,000–$5,000/month

• Seasonal contract, June–November

• Based in Austin, TX preferred. Remote considered for the right candidate.
