Joel is a filmmaker on YouTube who made 12 feature length films in 12 months. The films range from meta looks at the film-industrial complex (”The 9th Movie”), to the longest stop-motion film ever made (”Hello My Beautiful Creatures”), to a film shot in a single take during the 2024 Academy Awards (”The Text”). This is what experimental, indie filmmaking on YouTube can be.

In 2025, Haver was awarded the IMI Award and a $50,000 prize for his project, "12 Movies in 12 Months".
